Figured id start a "build thread" for my truck. Im not doing any crazy engine builds or 10" lifts, just a few things here and there. Heres what i have coming/en route:

    Amp Research Powersteps
Both eternal and internal filters for the transmission
    Deep sump trans filter lock
    Mag-hytec deep sump transmission pan
    Mag-hytec high capacity differential cover
    Transgo JR shiftkit
4 gallons Castrol Transynd transmission fluid
1 gallon Opti-lube XPD fuel treatment
    Fumoto drain plug
    Weathertech front/rear floor mats

Thats it for now, pictures to follow up as things become installed. Want to get all the filters/fluids changed first things and get the transmission checked out since its under warranty still.

A little more information on the truck, its a 2008 Silverado 3500 LTZ Duramax. Purchased originally on 12/19/14 with 82,000 miles. One owner truck, kept in very good condition. Was taken in on a trade in for a brand new 2015 F150, for the fact the owner had back surgery and wanted something that rides ultra smooth. Its fully loaded with leather interior, heated seats, sunroof, sat/nav, power sliding back window, dvd player, ect. Has brand new tires, and the previous owner installed HIDs in the low beams/fog lights. Overall a VERY clean truck. Wasnt really used for a hauler, as the bed is in perfect condition (Line-x coated as well)

You'll be able to ride your CannedHam right up in that bed. You wont even notice it there with that 6.6L Duramax. I was up and down the mountain (3.5K ft climb) several times this weekend with mine pulling a 16' car-hauler w/Rhino and it didn't even have to try, those engines are beast. Really sweet truck, you're going to enjoy it. RBP(Rolling Big Power) has some pretty cool things for the Chevy.

I'll have to check them out. I plan on getting a diamondback bed cover so I can haul my girlfriends and my atvs on the truck, and eventually get a travel trailer. Make camping a lot easier than setting up a tent lol

Thanks Jack! I've heard great things about the weather techs, never seen them in person. Can't wait for them to come. The guy that detailed the truck at the dealer sprayed the hell out of the rubber mats with armor all or something... feels like I'm dancing like MJ with my heels and feet slipping and sliding the whole time lol.

I bought mine used from a guy at work. He buys a new truck every year and doesn't have any kids so the rear one never had feet on it, lol! If you're gonna be using your truck after working check out the seat covers from duluth trading company. They're easy on and off and they're waterproof

Haha, ya he doesn't have any kids and his mother in law left him a bunch of money.
Sounds like you have this truck pretty well planned out and did a good job saving up for it.

Haha, I'm hoping between the EGR delete, straight pipe 5", efi live and the transgo jr shift kit it'll gain a few extra ponies... Not that I needs it. Stock it pulls MUCH harder than my old 5.3 1500.
