Day 4. Drank to much last night after I found the 1 state ran liquor store that is only open at certain hours, lol....... Cowboys like a little nip after a long day on the trail, plus I'm on vacation. Anyway, changed plans at the last minute and headed out to 'Top Of The World.' There are so many different trails out here I've hardly seen anyone while out riding but when you get back to town it is full of UTV & ATV. Got some video roll today but haven't down loaded any of it. Did Take some great pic from the top of the world and out at the venders area after getting back as they are setting up for tomorrow. Ever hear the saying "It shines like a diamond in a goats azz?"
    DSCN0246.JPG DSCN0244.JPG DSCN0222.JPG DSCN0250.JPG

That was what was below me and the wind was blowin hard enough to push me around so I didn't get real close to the edge. Last day for solo riding tomorrow I'll be riding with groups. Hope the trails I pick can give me some more experience in the rocks. R&R flag would have looked real good off the rock point.

Jack, me and Kenny were actually way ahead of you lol. Once I knew Kenny was heading there and wanted a flag, I had the embroidered one I originally ordered as a test for myself sent to him instead so he could have been flying it for the event. It was supposed to arrive on the 8th and it didn't get there in time before he left. The storm that forced him to leave early supposedly delayed the delivery. He was gonna have his wife overnight it to him out there once it arrived at his house but I asked him not to since the 2nd one I ordered was delivered to Mike D and the embroidery and flag stitching was messed up and looked nothing like the proof they sent me. Also to do the double sided flags they actually stitch together 2 individual ones and even that was done poorly as the header and seams were twisted and sewn like ass. The production time from them is supposedly 2 - 3 weeks and they shipped in less than 2 weeks so not sure if they came out like shit because they rushed them, or they just couldn't replicate the proof on the flag itself. They were supposed to send me pics prior to shipping the 2 and instead shipped them and sent me pics the next day or I would have never allowed them to ship them.

It would have been cool to see it in that pic, but at the same time I really didn't want such a crappy flag with the sites logo being displayed on it lol. That's why I had to find another flag company on Monday and bailed on the embroidered ones. It probably would look okay from 5 feet away, but I am pretty embarrassed knowing how bad they came out that they were shipped to them to begin with.

Moab day #5. 'Hells Gate' and 'The Escalator'. Ran with some of the venders on this ride, man there is some $$ tied up in their "cars" as they call them. I'd be afraid I'd scratch the paint.

They lock up real good, I'm running about 7# in them and they seem to mold round and grip the rock real good. Some say that the rubber is to soft for running on more volcanic rock, no worry here because I'm not running on that type of rock. Lots of these guys are running more of a lite truck tire tread, desert tire, and never get into wet/muddy conditions. Ended up busting the front right lower hub knuckle today, torn up the CV getting it off the climb area. so took a new knuckle out and patched it together to get back to base. It's setting down at Yamaha for repairs in the a.m., that s--ked, finally got it out of the rocks at about 6 p.m.

Got the bike out of the shop this p.m., still needs some work ball joints, diff seal, & bent the tie rod but got it straight enough to ride tomorrow. All the parts came off retired Rhinos they had, lol..... Sold me the parts cheap. Glad they had them, I'll be a bit easier on it tomorrow.

They call this area "upchuck", One bike broke an axle, another ripped his rock-slider off a XP1000 and one lost a front tire off the rim. Side 1 & 2.

A couple pics of the R&R flying out in Moab on Behind The Rocks Trail. This trail finished off the bike for the Rally. Made it to the end of the trail but the steering rod I'd damaged before was bent to hell and no repair possible. Lost the last day for riding but had a ball pushing the Rhino to the limit.
This was "white knuckle" one heck of a nose dive off the ledge.
