i have had the ASR tie rods on mine for a little over 1500 miles, but i got the ones with stock replacement style ends, not the heims. i clipped a tree while powersliding thru a turn and pretzeled my right tie rod. i ordered up a set of the ASR's and they have been on there ever since. i still carry the one that wasn't destroyed because it will fit the 660 and 700/550. if someone destroys one on a ride, i have a spare

Cool review! Thanks a ton for the detailed description and the pics!!!

I am not familiar with the aftermarket for tie-rods. Is this the only company out there? If not, what made you choose American Star?

When I had my yfz450 I bought from them. They have great reputation, and to me the pro series are the top hd tie rods you can get. On the farm all the equipment is heim joints. Much stronger than stock style on the grizzly. Asr is great company.

Awesome review. They are pretty tough to beat. I did bend one of the threaded ends when I rolled the 450 down in WV a while back. I sent him a pic and he replaced it for free.

How cool is that?!?!?! Customer service is what really sells me on a company. I will make a mental note that these folks are at the top of the list when/if I am in the market for this sort of purchase.
