Who here has Black Rifle disease? I stayed immune for many year, however in January of this year I became infected. So far through lots of ammo, and more magazines I have some what kept in in check. Like ATV mod disease, it is hard to do. It can really be a wallet draining process.

    So here is mine. It's a S&W MP15 Sport.

To save a little money on shooting 5.56, I added this last month.

    Smith & Wesson MP15-22.

I can shoot all day for about $20.00

So far I have avoided the Black rifle disease, although I have unfortunately contracted the black pistol disease and the every other gun except black rifles disease, I'm sure it only a matter of time..... or money ;)

I caught it a couple months ago after finding a sale on stripped lowers. The problem with stripped lowers is they need to be dressed. I built a set of twins one in 5.56 and one in .22lr. I'll have to remember to get some pics taken and i'll post them up.

    I haz it...
didnt think Id catch it since my first AR was a heavy barreled hunter with no rails and stuff, just a scope and a trigger... but boooooy was I wrong...
Second one was a bottom barrel DPMS, but the disease made more and more crap coming home with it. lol. soon I have 49465648 mags, tons of ammo, 4 or 5 different sight systems, 10 different slings, foregrips, flashlights, pistol grips, fore ends, stocks, triggers, and trigger guards. And I only want more!!
AND NOW, my buddy picked up and AK and I was shootin it the other day and some how caught that one too! They're like STDs i tell ya!

I also have BRD:D When I get a chance I'll post up the two I built in the past year and half. The black rifle is like the vw bug, easy to work on and parts everywhere.

The two I built the past year in a half. 16'' 450 bushmaster upper on a cmmg lower and 7.5 pistol upper on M&P lower. Just a FYI, be carefull when installing the trigger guard. Tapped mine a little to hard on th mp and broke the ear off. Stark has a nice grip, View attachment 395 if this happens to cover it up. View attachment 396

I think I have avoided it because I have 100's at my disposal lol but with new site I found it is now only a matter of months before I order my first... BTW if there are any active duty guys or retired guys let me know so I can give you a couple of sites to check out... The discount they give to military is ridiculous!

Seen a shotgun in person that had the A tacs pattern done to it. It was cool looking for sure, just wondering how durable it would be. Thinking about hydro dipping the ar pistol in either the viper or reaper pattern this winter. View attachment 398 View attachment 399

I saw an 870 with the new Magpul furniture in A tacs....
I had to clean my self up afterward....

As far as durability, Ive seen no complaints across the different gun boards I visit. They say its tuff like an automotive finish so it has to have some durability. just dont leave it next to any stray shopping carts...

Sounds sweet Sas! I wish I could afford one of those.
I'm finally ordering the LaRue mount for my 3x magnifier. I'll post some pics once I get it all set up.
