I've been working on an AR pistol in my "spare time", I've almost got it built, I'll post pictures when it's "done". I wish I had the cash to build an AR every week, it really is a disease!

So I finally got around to finishing up the AR pistol build, I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It gives me alot of options for a "truck gun" since I have my concealed handgun carry permit. I can carry it in the Truck or even in the Harley since it will sit nicely in the saddlebags or the tour pack.

A summary of the parts I used:

    • 7.5" 416R Stainless Steel, Govt. Profile .223 / 5.56 Chambered, 1:7 Twist Pistol Barrel
    • Ground Zero Precision Dead Bolt Gen II +P Premium Full-Mass Bolt Carrier Group - Slick Black Phosphate, Chrome Lined, Magnetic Particle Inspected, High Pressure Tested
    • Ground Zero Precision 7075 T-6 Aerospace Grade Aluminum Stripped Upper Receiver, Hard Coat Anodized (Black) to MIL-A-8625
    • 7" Super Slim Free-Float AR15 Hand Guard With Barrel Nut - 6061 T-6 Aluminum, Anodized (Black)
    • Ground Zero Precision Mod 1 .750 Stainless Steel Micro Gas Block
    • Seamless Stainless Pistol Length Gas Tube with Roll Pin
    • A2 "Birdcage" 1/2 X 28 Flash Hider with Crush Washer - Salt Bath QPQ Nitride Finish
    • Mil-Spec Charging Handle - 7075 T-6 Aerospace Grade Aluminum, Hard Coat Anodized (Black) to MIL-A-8625
    • Mil-Spec Dust Cover Door Assembly with Pin, C-Clip and Spring
    • Mil-Spec Target Forward Assist with Spring and Roll Pin
    • Complete Nitride Enhanced Mil-Spec Lower Parts Kit
    • Pistol Buffer Tube with Comfortable High Density Foam Wrap
    • "Slick Kote" Carbine Buffer Spring
    • 3 oz Carbine Buffer
    • Mil-Spec Castle Nut
    • Mil-Spec End Plate
    • Anderson Stripped lower and Ground Zero LPK
    • Magpul enhanced trigger guard
    • Magpul Mbus sights
    • Magpul K2+ grip
    • Magpul ASAP QD sling mount
    • Magpul B.A.D. Lever

Ordered my upper for my 300 bo build. Can't wait to get it. Going to be my gun for hog hunting in Texas next year. Know I'm put Nikon p-300 scope on this one already.

Update on my 300 blackout. Really liking this setup. Now been researching powders. Looks like need separate powders for reloading 223 and the 300. Going use cfe 223, and cfe black.

Thanks, got few things need to do yet. Got engraved trigger guard coming. This one's going be black with some red accents when it's fully done.

On side note I just read about new round that's got me intrigued lol. 277 wolverine it's called. Use either .270 or 6.5 bullets (.277)
Little faster than 300 blackout. Still uses 223 shell but it's not cut down as far as a 300 is. Call me crazy I almost want to do one lol
