ya, Butch and Jesse knew before I even left the Yamaha dealer last Saturday. :19:

I have a little over 50 miles on it now. so i opened it up and top speed is limited at exactly 53 mph. I also got into some mildly technical off camber, downhill, deep washed out ruts last night and the flexibility is great! I was a little nervous, but it made me look like I knew what I was doing, LOL:sign0104:

Do you have experience driving a sxs, Jack? I had never even ridden in one before I bought the 570. Does the cvt whine in yours?
53-54 is what we got in James' Wolvy before the sheave, that bumped it up to about 58-59 and we could cruise at 50 mph.
That and different rims/tires is all I would change on mine.

Timmi, I have been a passenger in several and driven a few but my driving was limited to around the yard or over easy terrain. So I am pretty green at operating a SxS. I've got plenty of experience off roading trucks, etc. so I think I'll figure it out pretty quickly.
Yes, the CVT definitely whines, but it's not bad enough that I am concerned.
    Thanks for the link, RedRocket!

James put Viking SE rims with 26" horns on his, it looks good. The rear panels are cloth and funky looking. The seam in the front windshield can be annoying going over steep hills.
I would do a top chop and a metal roof if I got one, whenever that may be..

Friday night the wife and I rode until after 1 in the morning. It was warm with a nice breeze and there was some heat lightning in the distance. We went up to one of the highest points in the area, shut off the lights and enjoyed the evening.
Last night we went to Rock Run for the ride until midnight. We were supposed to meet some friends there, but they had machine trouble so we rode alone. Got a chance to hit some black diamond trails, some open dirt roads and some steep hills.
It's got a little over 130 miles on it in less than a week. The more i drive it, the more i like it. My wife wasn't sure how she'd like being a passenger, but she's loving it too!
I'm gonna need an interior light and some back up lights. The mechanic at the Yamaha dealer told me that the Wolverine is pre-wired for back up lights, so that will be an easy job.
It's going to take some getting used to the switches. The 4wd and the headlight switch are right next to each other so every time I need 4wd i switch off the headlights, lol

I did notice some understeer on the muddy trails, but that's probably more tires than anything else. The other issue I noticed is that the seat belt buckle stabs me in my fat belly if I lean the wrong way, LOL

There are some new black trails over by the jeep trails. At the bottom of the hill before the jeep trails, to the right. We did do some jeep trails, but only blue and green.

Did you do the stretch of jeep trails with the little hill where the Mrs gave it hell lol. Curious how the width is for those trails. Also did you drive across any of the bridges?

No, we just kinda wondered around in the dark.
We did cross the bridge at the bottom of the hill behind the visitors center. We fit with about an inch to spare on either side
