Visited Sports Cycles in Rockingham, NC yesterday and couldn't resist the temptation to bring home a new Kawasaki Teryx T2 Black basic model. It is different from what I had and will take some getting used to, but I am looking forward to riding and enjoying the new ride. Toby says it sure looks different, but is glad it has a seat for him...MD

Timmi, I did trade the RZR. The owner made me a deal I couldn't resist.

Butch, the out the door price is a little complicated because of the trade. but I paid less than 4K difference total. $10,698 was the beginning price...MD

EDIT, Butch, I might add that my deal included a rebate that he promised me that collapsed last week. Probably $10, 998 now if I had to guess.MD

Timmi, ask for Keith and tell him you are mine and Hap's riding buddy and also a very active member of the RR Forum where purchases are discussed daily. Also make sure he knows about the recent bushings etc rebuild. He might surprise you what you may get for it. If you still have some of the original wheels and tires you had one time, include them also. I drove up there with the factory stuff I took off and gave it all to him and it helped make for my good deal, plus I had no use for the stuff again...MD

Nope, no Yamaha, they sell Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki. You will have to hunt the deal somewhere else...MD

Mike, I have heard that's a good dealer to get toys from, But wow most of the time NC riders go to SC to buy but Since NC tracks the Taxes NOW maybe its not worth the hassle. Most of the time prices are cheaper in other states.
Timmi , My local dealer sales Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki..Seems they always push the Polaris products more.Maybe warranty repairs pay better tru polaris.

That's one darn good lookin machine you got MD; and I think a darn good deal!!!!! I know when I looked at the Wolvy at my stealership here they had a T2 setting right next to the Wolvy and after going over both of them, I walk out liking the T2.

    Thanks to all comments.

The one single thing I see as something I don't like so far is the lack of cross-over braces or bars in the top of the roll cage. It makes hanging the things I like to keep out of the weather hard to do. BUT, I am already seeing a few light weight conduit like bars retrofitted to make look good and improve hanging points for the roof bag, radio, GPS mount etc. Other than that, so far I'm enjoying all 3 miles I have driven it...MD
