Had a great time at the Fall Fest as usual [IMG]

No wind, no rain, no snow, and calm waters with little-to-no chop the entire fest!... still undecided if the full moon helps or hurts the bite?

It was the smallest group I have seen in my 6 trips over the last 5 years, but there were still many familiar faces and some new ones too!

ChumLee and I had 25 fish to the boat on Thursday, 20 on Friday, and only a dozen on Saturday including our last and largest of the weekend [IMG]

Here are a few random pic's... I am still trying to figure out how to make a slideshow to add to CC's thread too! Hope you enjoy ~

First of the "group" to arrive and set up camp

    First sunset

Didn't see any baitballs this fall, but "Bob Marley" was plentiful and easy to catch
    [IMG]

Water doesn't get much calmer than this!

Marked a few of these in various locations and have marked them before too... underwater geyser is what I'm thinking?

First time I saw cattle so close to the lake
    [IMG]

Mini "group" photo with a few good fishing friends
    [IMG]

ChumLee with a big smile and a nice fish
    [IMG]

Feeding the remaining hotdog buns to the birds as we finished breaking down camp
    [IMG]

Okie's custom shirt! [IMG] combination of ImHooked, FishSniffer, & FinAddicts, just for reference :67:

Already looking forward to getting ready for the upcoming 2014 Spring Fest, hope to see you there! [IMG]

Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone! :s_cool:

Those birds are migratory Pelican's flying a nice tight V-formation over "Pelican Beach"... I guess they are only passing through in the Spring time and I am normally only there in the late fall so that pic I snapped was my first time getting to see them myself! Now I finally now where the beach gets its name from. All shots were taken using my trusty old point-n-shoot Cannon PowerShot SD1000...
